Bio-wine (organic) – balancing pleasure and the environment

Bio-products are in demand as never before - a trend Langguth caters to with bio-wines that marry pleasure and enviromental responsibility. The idea behind this is to maintain the ecosystem in the vineyard in balance. To achieve this, our winemakers no longer use synthetic fertilizers and pesticides.
Instead, the ground is made more fertile through strategic planting. Useful insects eat the pests, robust grape varieties offer natural resistance to fungal decay and weeds are removed mechanically, an approach which requires a lot of effort, care and attention. All this effort is not only good for the environment, but is also rewarded with more taste.
The optimally matched grape varieties in healthy soil underline the regional characteristics of the wines, and bring out the wonderful aromas to the full.
The well-known Bio Quality seal guarantees that Langguth Bio-wine has fulfilled the requirements of the EU Eco Directive and is subject to all the stipulated inspections.
